I love these knee high pompoms that were pure white when I bought them (Santolina “Nana”). This past summer they developed into these eye-catching yellow button like flowers. Their leaves are silver like the native sage we have growing here. Right now (Fall), they’ve turned brown, but the foliage continues to grow and spread.
I lost the tag for the ground cover in front of them. They’re also hardy and spreading like crazy. Their maroon blossoms with their soft round leaves compliment the Santolina “Nana” behind them.
Just a couple feet further are two artichoke plants that I planted this Spring. We’ve yet to see if they make it through this Winter. Cross your fingers!
